France & Dover Weekend, Sept 29^th & 30^th (1 night with breakfast)

Join Geoff and Rita for a day trip by Ferry over to Calias (where you can use your 6 hours to shop, booze cruise, cheese chunter, or take a sightseeing drive along the French coast) we then Ferry it back departing at 7.45pm to arrive back at Dover 10.15pm. Drive to West Premier Dover West Premier Travel Inn with a Beefeater Pub and Restaurant next door.

Rise on Sunday [at 06:00 for morning exercise and run followed by!!!] breakfast and a visit to Dover Castle (or you may choose some other attraction in the area).

Cost for 4 sharing a car and two sharing a bedroom would be £34.50 each plus fuel (hotel £54.00 per night for two sharing and ferry £30.00 return with 4 people in car).

BATH CHRISTMAS MARKET & The Cotswolds

A not-to-be-missed Festive Shopping Break! Combining the very best of seasonal shopping, fine, food and entertainment with Bath’s spectacular Christmas Lights, it’s a Yuletide experience to remember, which also includes a short tour of the lovely Cotswolds and a visit to the historic and elegant town of Cheltenham.

Day One: leaving from various pick up points (Pam has the list) the coach travels to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, arriving early afternoon, then you can wander and partake of what you fancy in this famous Christmas Market ~ over 120 traditional wooden chalet-style stalls; handmade crafts, unique jewellery pieces and decorations, cards, toys and locally produced food and drink, and not forgetting the festive entertainment makes for a very special experience. Plus of course explore the Roman Baths, the Museum, 15^th Century Abbey, Assembly Rooms or simply marvel at the Royal Crescent. Partake of an early evening meal in Bath and then we head off to our overnight hotel, in the Express Holiday Inn (or similar) 

Day Two ~ After full English breakfast, travel to the Cotswolds and the Regency Spa town of Cheltenham, renowned for its stylish shopping, the perfect place to pick up those last few gifts, then we have lunch before travelling homeward, arriving back mid-late evening.
